🎯 How I Lost 57 Pounds After 50—and What Finally Worked for Me

That was the moment I knew something had to change.
I remember sitting there, struggling with something as simple as tying my own shoes, and thinking:
“I am not going to live like this anymore.”

I lost 41 pounds... but my doctor said it wasn’t enough
Over the course of about a year and a few months, I committed to intermittent fasting, and it worked—I lost 41 pounds.
But at my next appointment, my doctor gently told me the truth:
“You’re doing amazing. But that weight around your midsection? That’s the dangerous kind. You’ve still got a little more to go.”
Midsection weight is especially stubborn, and over 50, it becomes even harder to lose. My doctor’s advice made me rethink everything.
That’s when I started to focus not just on what I was eating, but on my whole health—nutrition, movement, rest, and stress.
I found support... and I found success
I realized I couldn’t do this alone. So I partnered with a health and wellness coach to help me through the final stretch. And let me tell you—it made all the difference.
